Can I customize which sites or apps to block?
Not yet. At the moment, LaunchWave blocks all social media and distracting websites by default to make sure nothing gets in the way of your focus. In future updates, you’ll be able to customize exactly what to block.
Can I schedule blocking sessions in advance?
Absolutely. LaunchWave includes a built-in calendar where you can plan your focus sessions days or weeks ahead. When the time comes, your sessions automatically appear in your Upcoming Today Sessions block.
What happens if I need to access a blocked site during a session?
LaunchWave is designed to keep you accountable. While some blockers can be bypassed easily, LaunchWave makes it intentionally difficult to “cheat” during a session—helping you stay consistent with your goals.
Does LaunchWave track how much time I actually focus?
Yes. Every session is logged, and you get daily and weekly reports. Charts and progress rings show exactly how many minutes you spent in focus, making it easy to compare against your goals.
Can I use LaunchWave on multiple devices?
Yes. Your account syncs sessions and settings across devices, so whether you’re on your laptop or desktop, your focus plan follows you.
Will LaunchWave slow down my computer or browser?
Not at all. LaunchWave is lightweight and optimized for both Chrome and Edge. Blocking happens instantly in the background without affecting speed.
What if none of the personality types fit me?
It’s rare, but possible. If you feel like distractions are still overwhelming, our support team can guide you personally. LaunchWave is flexible—we’ll help you adjust until you find the strategy that works for you.
Is LaunchWave free to use?
LaunchWave starts as a completely free productivity system. You can plan, block, and track sessions without paying. In the future, premium features like advanced reports or team plans may be introduced, but the core blocker will always remain free.
